And then there were...........3!!!!

I can't believe I am actually typing this but............we are expecting baby #3!!!! Micheli baby #3 is due on January 30th.

Darrell and I got to meet our little peanut today for the first time. What an overabundance of gratitude we felt to see a new life growing in side of me. A new little family member a new little love. We told Carter and Gavin the news tonight and then all went out to Olive Garden for a baby celebration!! Carter can't wait to help feed the baby and push "it" around in the stroller!

Down on the Kensington Farm

So proud of our little cowboy!!!

Carter had his spring program at Kensington earlier this month. The theme was "Down on the Farm." All the children dressed up as cowboys/cowgirls and sang a bunch of farm and animal songs. It was adorable! Carter did a great job remembering all the words to the songs and singing nice and loud. Mommy, Daddy, Gavin, Noonie & Papa all came to watch!

Opening presents with the family. Of course he got a TON of toys!!!

Our baby turned the BIG 2 on May 20th. We had a Toy Store themed party on that Saturday, May 21st in our backyard. We ended up having a GREAT turn out (50 guests exactly) and the weather much to surprise did cooperate. It was a very fun party. Mommy and Daddy rented a big bouncy house and Uncle Kevin came dressed up as Buzz Light Year. All the kids got to take home Sheriff Woody badges and cowboy hats. We ended up catering in Portillo's beef and pasta and Aunt Knee-Knee surprised us all by making and bringing some delicious cake pops decorated with Buzz and Woody characters on them.

Gavin had a great day! On his actual birthday, which was Friday, he and I had a fun time at a MyGym class. He loves bouncy on the trampolines, diving in the ball pit, swinging on the dolphin swing and just running around that gym. Then the four of us went to Red Robin's for a birthday dinner.

Gavin, we love you! You are so very special and dear to us. We can't imagine life without you. Your beautiful eyes, those pouty lips, your curious personality, your endless jibbering, your dirty look giving, love for playing, jumping, junk food, and all your morning cuddles and hugs.

We look forward to celebrating many more birthday's with you son. Mommy loves you to the moon and back!!!

A Sad Day Today..........

Heaven gained a very special angel today. Noonie Jean passed away early this moring in her sleep. It is so hard to believe she is gone. It has been really hard to fight back the tears today. I just keep thinking of all the good memories I had with her while growing up. I feel so fortunate that both my boys were able to meet her. I know Carter will remember her. He loved visiting her at the nursing home and pushing her around in her wheelchair. It was really hard explaining death to my 4 yr. old today. I truly believe she is in a better place and finally got to reconnect with the love of her life....my Papa Lester and her ever so strong daughter my Aunt Leslie.
Noonie, your smile will be missed. You laughter I will cherish. Your name will live on through me. Your generousity and kindness I will "pay it forward" But most of all your love for your family will never be forgotten.
All my love,
Dana Jean
