Gavin: 15 month stats

Gavin John at 15 months:

Weight: 24 lb.s 8 oz. (50% percentile)
Height: 32 1/2 inches (90% percentile)

Our Gavs had his 15 month check up today. He also had the dreaded MMR shot today too. Ouch! We saw Dr. Bergquist for the last time today as well, which was very hard on mommy. I absolutely loved her. I felt such a strong connection with her that sometimes I thought of her more as a friend and less as a doctor. She is one of the most compassionate people I know. She helped Darrell and I thru some really tough times when Carter was in the ICU as an infant and whenever Gavin spiked a high fever. I have never felt like an "annoying" first time mommy to her. I continue to refer all my friends to her and they all feel the same way. It is definitely going to be hard putting my trust and my precious babies in another doctors hands. They will have some big shoes to fill. So thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr. B. The boys and I think you are the best!!!!
Dr. B couldn't believe how well behaved my little Gavin was at his check up. He just watched her look into his ears, he opened his mouth right on cue and sat quietly while she listened to his heartbeat. I told her if every baby was just like Gavin, I would have a 3rd for sure! We talked about all Gavin's developmental milestones. He is right on target with all of them, even pretty advanced in the speech department, which was definitely nice to hear. He has lots of words and they are very clear to the ear. He is very active, alert and understands directions too. The only thing we need to do now is eat MORE veggies!!! Definitely not a favorite of Gavin's. He loves meats and fruits, but won't touch a pea or piece of corn to save his soul!
Hard to believe my baby baby is 15 months old and running around everywhere. Yep, I said RUNNING! Oh... and climbing too!

Will post some recent pics soon! Still trying to figure out the camera on our new phones!!!

Micah & Kim's cake. I loved it! Especially the look a like bobble heads on top. They did a whole baseball theme weekend.

My handsome little guy all ready to go! He just loved his suite. For weeks prior to the wedding he wanted to put it on and walk around the house in it. Carter is really into his looks these days and loves looking handsome!

That would be Lily & Carter dancing with Micah & Kim during their first offical dance as husband and wife. Yep, those two crashed the dance and went out there in hopes of playing a game of ring a round the rosie! Micah said that was probably his best memory of the night

My Little Worker

Just sitting down taking a break. This doesn't happen very often, so I had to capture the moment. What a cutie pie!

Happy 80th Birthday Grandpa Iggy!

We celebrated Grandpa Iggy's 80th Birthday dinner at RiverView restaurant with the whole family. Carter had to "help" Grampy blow out all the candles.

A nice family photo. Happy 80th Grandpa Iggy! We hope you had a very memorable day!

Our new "rental" home

The boys love the space and Darrell and I are finding ourselves settling in and loving it too. The area is great. We are closer to family and some friends and just finding that we definitely do not miss the hustle and bustle of the city life living. We are really excited about living in Aurora now and are looking forward to hosting some holidays at our new BIG place! Santa will have a ton of space to leave lots of toys this Christmas!
