Carter Updates

My Carter David has had a fun summer! He has been very active. He has really enjoyed swimming and is becoming quite a good swimmer. He loves to go to Noonie & Papa's & Noni & Granpa's house to swim and run around. He is an advid weather channel watcher and loves doing chores now around the house like taking out the trash. He will be the first one to tell you if there is a hurricane or torando on the way and what day the Aurora garbage man comes to our house. He is a good big brother for the most part, but has a hard time keeping his hands to himself at times. He loves to wrestle with Gavin and looks forward to bedtime everynight with Daddy and all daddy's stories about the adventures of "Cartier." Carter learned this summer that he is going to be a big brother again. He is really excited to about the baby and asks lots of questions about it and always wants to feel mommy's belly and give it kisses. He really wants a girl baby though so we will see. I told him we get whatever God decides for us. Carter continues to amaze me with how intelligent he is and his photographic memory. He loves reading signs anywhere and everywhere, asking me a TON of questions and is actually being to read books. Today he and I finished our first book together called "Fire Engine Man" he literallly read 90% of the book!!!! He is starting preschool again this fall at Kensington and I can't wait to see all the progress he makes this year. In his spare time he loves taking his little motorized tractor out for a ride,heading over to the park to climb all the equipment, fishing with daddy or papa and having his buddy Chase Elliot over for a playdate! Such a BIG BOY he has become!
