My boys. I love them endlessly. We have MANY days were I am purely exhausted and have had to endure countless tantrums, cries and refusals to sleep. However on days like in this picture I really stop and think about how lucky I am. I have two beautifully, healthy little guys! As a little girl I always invisioned myself being a mom of little girls. Maybe because I was such a girly, girly that is all I knew. I wanted to dress my little girls up in a pink and have a house full of dolls! So, obviously that did not happen for me and quite honestly I am SO HAPPY to have BOYS! Boys are so much fun. They bring out a side of me I never knew I had. It is fun to play with cars, get dirty and point out numerous trains, garbage trucks and firetrucks that pass us along the road. Boys are not delicate, not too whinny and they are not drama! Don't get me wrong they are ACTIVE, but fun. So incredible fun. In this day and age and the society we live in I think there is so much pressure on young girls that I feel sorry for them. I also feel for the parents that have to raise them! People always ask us "oh, so are you going to try for a girl now?" I think to myself, well no and what a silly question to ask. If we decide to try for a 3rd (that is to be determined not anytime soon!) it will not be in hopes of me having a female companion in the house. It will be because Darrell and I really want another child regardless of the sex. For now, though I feel blessed and wouldn't trade my burping, farting, active and rough housing boys for the WORLD!
