Halloween: 2011
Daddy and his boys on our front steps. We had just finished craving our pumpkin into a jack o lantern.
Mommy & Her "Super-Carter" at his Halloween classroom party. Mommy was a helper that day and brought "Hot Pumpkin" (form of the hot potato game) to school to play.
There's a new sheriff in town. Sheriff Woody...aka...Gavin taking a cookie break!
Gavin and his best buddy Quinn both dressed up as Woody this year.
Trick or Treat!!! Woody and Superman are ready to go!
This year we went trick or treating w/ the Burkart's too. What fun!
Carter's class all dressed up in their costumes and ready for a fun party!
Go Woody! Go! Gavin did a GREAT job this year being a big boy and trick or treating. He really enjoyed running from house to house and saying "trick or treat, smell my feet." I am surprised at how long he lasted and how fast those little legs were running to get candy!!!
Next year for Halloween we will have a new addition to our family. 3 Little Micheli's trick or treating.
Happy Halloween to all~

Gavin's Music Class
Music to my ears!
Gavin doing a solo!
Best buds!
Little Gavs is enrolled in the Music Together class taught by Ms. Joan. Ms. Joan used to be an opera singer and is fantastic at keeping the children entertained with wonderful music. She is also so very patient and kind and always let's Gavin and his buddy Quinn Newton play the piano and run around!
Dad turns 60!!!
Happy 60th Birthday Dad-Papa!!!
The fish cake we had made for him. An old highschool friend of mine Mandy Fusinato made the this AWESOME cake! It was a banana cake w/ a brownie on the bottom. It was delicious and I think dad was super impressed by it! It even had a gummie worm as fake bait in it's mouth.
Papa's 2 little helpers blowing out the candles.
A nice picture of dad :)
Celebrating at Skoog's Steakhouse. Even Grandma made it out and ate dinner after 5pm!~
The brothers!
Dad and mom at dinner
Darrell and a 6month pregnant me enjoying a kid free night out!
All in all, I think my dad had a very memorable 60th birthday. I tried my best to incorporate everyone and everything (even the fish cake!). I had all the family, kids included and some of dads' close friends join us for a mini cake celebration in the garage. We all then presented him w/ a weekend get away to Wisconsin and some gift cards. After opening his gifts and enjoying cake the adults went out for a nice dinner and then did a little wine/beer tasting at the LaSalle event. And to top it off all off he even had fireworks for his birthday! Here's to wishing you a very happy and healthy 60th year Papa. We love you!

Carter's First Day of Preschool: Fall 2011
Carter & friend Lily at preschool orientation. They were making mice.
It's a BIG day. On my way to preschool!
Carter is back at Kensington School this year for the 4 yr. old preschool program. He has Ms. Dolan and Ms. Douchenberg this year. I have to say I am very impressed thus far by both teachers and their classroom management technique known as the "terrific tickets" and their overall friendly attitudes and organizational skills. Everytime one of the teachers catch Carter doing a good deed or being a "terrific student" in some way, he earns a ticket. He gets so excited to come home and show me how many tickets he has earned. Ms. Dolan already told me how impressed she is with Carter's reading skills, attention span and eagerness to learn and answer every circle time question. I am so proud of my Carter and how he is passionate about learning.
