Happy 80th Birthday Grandpa Iggy!

We celebrated Grandpa Iggy's 80th Birthday dinner at RiverView restaurant with the whole family. Carter had to "help" Grampy blow out all the candles.

Our new "rental" home

The boys love the space and Darrell and I are finding ourselves settling in and loving it too. The area is great. We are closer to family and some friends and just finding that we definitely do not miss the hustle and bustle of the city life living. We are really excited about living in Aurora now and are looking forward to hosting some holidays at our new BIG place! Santa will have a ton of space to leave lots of toys this Christmas!

Gavin: 14 months old

Our little guy turned 14 months. Time is flying by and Gavin is learning so much and growing so fast. I just thought I would jot down 14 things about Gavin.

1. Gavin loves Elmo & Woody from Toy Store. They are his favorite!
2. Gavin can say: Mama, Dadda, Papa, Melmo "Elmo", Bye, Baba, Hi
3. But the cutest word he says is "Thank you" It sounds so sweet coming out of his mouth!
4. Gavin is a CLIMBER. He climbs on everything and anything these days. He is my little monkey.
5. Gavin thinks he is 3 like Carter is. He wants to wrestle and play and do everything that big brother does.
6. Gavin's favorite fruit is bananas.
7. Gavin's favorite snacks are cheerios and cheese puffs. Although he had chocolate pudding for the first time today and LOVED it!
8. Gavin has a security blanket. Or as we call it a "whabee" The Whabee must go everywhere with us and he sleeps with it every night.
9. Gavin has the curliest hair, chubbiest cheeks and long eyelashes. He is truly a beautiful baby. Everyone always tells me this :)
10. Gavin is so good at entertaining himself and can play for ever on his own. He is a very low maintence toddler.
11. Gavin's nicknames still hold strong. Brother Goose or Gavin Goose is still what we call him.
12. Gavin is starting to walk, but much rather prefer to speed crawl or have momma hold him. He is a bit lazy in this department.
12. Gavin hates highchairs and carseats.
13. Gavin is still very much a momma's boy and is a bit shy around strangers.
14. He currently has 10 teeth and appears to be teething again. Teething has been pretty hard on him. Fevers and fussiness. Teething bites!

Gavin just loves this little rocking chair that mom has at her house. He just climbs up on it and will sit forever in it watching his favorite cartoon: ELMO! Notice...the puppy and whabee are with him too. Both of which he adores as well.

Gavin and I took a mommy and me swim class at the YMCA this summer. He loved the water and his favorite part of the class was when we sang "Humpty, Dumpty" and then he "fell" into the water. lol!
